Quarter 1

Below the screen shot, describe Player Two’s pattern of travel as it relates to each piece of the graph. Be sure to note when the slope changes and give a reason for this change according to the context. Discuss these changes using the words distance and time in your response.

4) Does your graph ever increase? Explain
Not increase, because since the planets were on the way I had to go below the planets in order to get to planet x.

5)Is there any piece of the graph that is horizontal line? Identify the domain where this happens and give 2 scenarios that explains what the spaceship was doing at this time.
At the distance of 50 in the time between 5 and 10.

6) Without the cartoon planets, only having the graph, how would you know you had reached planet x ?
If there weren't any planets on the way with only the graph, I would go straight and reach planet x.
7)How far did the spaceship have to travel to reach planet x?
The spaceship had to travel 3.33 distance to get to planet x.

8) Describe the travel pattern of the spaceship be sure to include specific distance and time measurements to make your story clearer.

5.Below the screenshot, discuss some of the techniques you had to use in trying to make the graphs representing the two spaceships match up. To make the graphs match up I tried the same movement to get spaceships to go in the same direction and do the same movements.Screenshot-Distance_Time_Graph_Activity_for_2_people._1st_person_creates_real_time_distance_vs_time_graph_and_2nd_tries_to_emulate_it!_-_Mozilla_Firefox.png

10.Below the screen shot, describe Player Two’s pattern of travel as it relates to each piece of the graph. Be sure to note when the slope changes and give a reason for this change according to the context. Discuss these changes using the words distance and time in your response. I went to right horizontally so that the slope could be negative and to the and to make a negative slope I had to go down.

11. Is there ever a time that you would have a vertical line on your graph? Explain
No, there would not be a vertical line on the graph because in order to get the spaceship to planet x, I had to move it up and down and that is what makes the graph.
12.Is there ever a way to make the graph zig-zag back and forth, left to right? Explain what this would represent and if it is possible or not.
Yes, there was a time when i had to try to get the spaceship between the firewall and when i had to go backwards so it could go to the planet x.
